Hi everyone,

I think that Villain is a TAG, stats: 21/18/6

Would you play the streets differently?

PokerStars - $0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

CO: 100 BB
BTN: 153.5 BB
SB: 94.5 BB
Hero (BB): 100.5 BB
UTG: 101.5 BB
MP: 25 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8♣ K♣

fold, fold, CO raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 2 BB

Flop: (6.5 BB, 2 players) 6♣ 2♣ 8♠
Hero checks, CO bets 3.5 BB, Hero calls 3.5 BB

The villains played a standard cbet and here I'm not sure if my call was correct or if I should have played check/raise. I was considering that he may hold a higher pocket pair, but I had many other outs besides the hit TP.

Turn: (13.5 BB, 2 players) J♦
Hero checks, CO bets 12 BB, Hero calls 12 BB

I though I still had good equity on the villain, so I called the turn.

River: (37.5 BB, 2 players) 3♦
Hero checks, CO bets 34 BB, fold

I folded the river, thinking one pair wasn't enough to beat him.

CO wins 36 BB

its apple to oranges, calling is fine. Me, I am probably going hog on the flop, c/r then leading every street after. you have equity and some fold equity with such a bad board for him. If you get raised on flop, it kinda suck, but i call at least once and see what he does on turn.
