why c/r middle pair on flop. I mean you get lucky on turn binking another 9. after hitting turn 9- river shove.

I think a different way to look at this hand, is that if BNT has a high RFI, 3 bet preflop with Ace blocker IMO.

Sure, we can do whatever we want vs high steal aggro. I guess I wanted to know if others are down for CRing merged range and some random semi-bluffs like my OC draw CR in the other post. Element of surprise can be a good thing. For instance, here in this hand, rather than going the conventional way, the chance of jam getting called may have gotten higher. I think it may also have the effect of throwing the opponents off.

yea, I get it but laws of probability, 5:44 or 1:9.2 times you will get lucky and hit a card, if you don't stack villain, I believe you are lighting money on :sfishy: fire.. But, if it against, villains whom you play a lot with, it could help with pay offs down the line. But, for this to work you need to be willing to keep barreling with MPTK. IMO

Yeah, you can't do it too often for sure. It has to be against someone who cbets a lot. Otherwise, we are lighting money on fire which is always fun but at a cost.

For FYEO:

Hero shows A♥ 9♣ (Three of a Kind, Nines)
(Pre 57%, Flop 20%, Turn 95%)
BTN shows T♥ Q♠ (Two Pair, Queens and Nines)
(Pre 43%, Flop 80%, Turn 5%)
Hero wins 197.92 BB
River is a snap call because we rep so small a range.
