So I would say preflop call is bit too wide for high rake game at least from gto view. I decided to call though as CO is pretty weak player and I have BU. Also both blinds had been on tight side.
Unfortunately SB does squeeze and I really dont like spot but I think call is still bit better than fold. But not sure.
Flop I face half pot cbet from SB. Its fairly good flop for SB range but I doubt he is cbetting that much as fe is on low side. For half pot I doubt folding ngs, mediocre fd and bottom pair is possible so I call.
Turn make things interesting as it complete bunch of straights and those are very well represented in my range. I will call bunch of ss rundown combos pre versus open and then call squeeze. So we have 53€ effective behind on turn. I think this guy is not type to slowplay QJ here even with backup for most part. Plus weaker straights are unlikely for his tight range. He will have some two pairs and sets and pair+nfd stuff. I thought there is decent chance to get two pairs and sets without fd to fold on turn. Also some nfd combos though I would imagine hand like AAJ5+nfd to just pot turn but who knows.
Anyway I were thinking about sizing in game for decent time but basically I mainly value bet straights and thus pot size seems like only good sizing to go for. Good amount of straights I have here are not with strong back up so those want to go for max protection imo. So question is if this combo is reasonable to use as semibluff. Main issue is basically size of my fd. Like if I had nfd it would be no brainer. But I will also raise flop with decent portion of nfd combos so imo I need to find some weaker ones to not be extremely value heavy. Now there is obvious danger of villain having some of those combo hands that have me drawing plain gs. Bottom pair does help though as I could have some two pair or trip outs versus some call hands.
