I used to play pokerstars a lot years ago. Recently I decided to log back in and play again, but have moved and couldn't at the time find a way to just update my address. So, I started a new account (not realizing the problem in doing so). It allowed me to make it, then deposit $300 CAD into it. Instantly it froze my new account.
I have since been trying to get this fixed. I've followed and used the forms in the app and website, which seem to use a 3rd party "rationalwebservices.com" for uploading of government issue documents (not super keen about that).
I have received emails from support@starsaccount.eu (unsure if this is a legit email address?)
The "Contact Us" button on the website does NOT link to anything, so there is no live chat like they advertise.
The community forums on the website do not seem to exist either.
I have now been asked to send photos of my government ID over email to someone at support@starsaccount.eu
With all the different domains being used for emails, the no available way to contact anyone through the legit pokerstars.com website, and the thirdparty rationalwebservices.com being used I have little to no faith that I'm actually dealing with pokerstars or any kind of legit company.
Can anyone give me any advice as to what is going on here?
