can anyone tell me the cashout ruling on pokerstars please.because i think i got robbed.so im playing plo 3 players see the flop.all 3 go allin total pot $380.one person cashes out $180 on the flop.remaining 2 cards are dealt.the player that cashed would have won the hand if he stayed in hand. what happens to the $380 pot.pokerstars say that the person who cashed was not entitled to the remaining $200 because he cashed out. but also the remaining 2 players not entitled because they did not win the hand so pokerstars kept the $200. i think once a person cashes out hes outta the hand and the remaining $200 goes to the winner of the other 2 players am i right or wrong?

I'm never used the cash out option, but you can find the rules here.
If I understand it well the pot will be removed from the table if the winner had cashed out and it cost 1% extra.
In a situation like this you get nothing if you decline if the winner had accept the cash out option. Seems a bad deal for everyone if someone would use this option.

The money that the winner forfeited is held by PokerStars to pay out future players that cashed out that would have lost.

Note that according to PokerStars the cashout part is break-even over time, however the 1% that they keep is a real money-maker.
Sorry, I can't find a link that mentions that fact, however it makes sense since they're paying out equity.
I saw one hand playing 6+ Hold'em where all three players in the pot cashed out. I tried, but cannot remember if the hand played out to showdown, but I think it did.
I think that cashing out makes sense if all of the following are true:
There are 3 or more players in the pot.
The pot is large enough, and your equity is large enough that you will be in profit even after the 1% fee
There are significant bad cards still out that could destroy your hand.
