PLO50 KJJ6ss limped pot ends in big bluff

I don't think I'd lead. It's a limped pot and we complete SB. I do think a flat is fine, with the intention to flop either top set or nut flush (draw) on an Asxx board.
This board just seems troublesome; sure we double block the nut straight. but we have the weakest overpair available + 2nd nut flush draw. It seems like a very marginal spot.

Only card we're going to be super happy with to start bombing is A♠:. I just think out of position and given the money invested i'd really just check and give up if i face any sort of aggresion. There's just much better spots to be played.

I would say our fd is fairly often alive. When BB checks preflop it will cap his range which will decrease Axxxs combos somewhat.

So point is our hand with fd is not really weak enough that we want to just x-f it. Having three straight blocker is quite potent component to put pressure on. That 6 is relevant as well. Of course if flop was like T97 so we had ngs as well it would be big improvement.

But yeah it's not like mandatory spot to take but imo reasonable.

Completing is fine and leading is a solid play indeed here considering our specific components. Pretty uncommon preflop setup but yes we´d prefer check-raising with the :Qx::Jx::Jx:. Getting reraised with our hand would suck a lot but it is also quite unlikely.

Sometimes check-raises and leads are quite interchangeable but when more marginal or blocker-dependant we´d prefer to lead and with a more visibility continuation on lower turn SPR´s or smooth equity distribution check-raising is better. But I think check-raising here is good too, we also block second-nutstraight and the second-nutflush is pretty strong too. I think at lower SPR´s leading becomes better dominating lower flushdraws, otherwise it´s probably more player dependant.

Rest is well-played. Maybe important to mention: It is good to not check but 2-barrel the turn spiking SDV, the blocking aspect here is more important. Counting the non-♠ improvement we actually never have real SDV against a SDV check-back on a blank rivers and therefore with also no solid SDV ott we prefer to not check-call a turn float bet oop but generate FE and leverage.
