Was I right to try to steal preflop? I thought the guy could be SSS, but a reraise would force him to lay down AJ AT and maybe even JJ and AQ. Certainly I had a med/small pocket pair beat and if he calls with AK, I was a slight favourite on a coinflip. so what do people think, did I play that wrong?
On the other hand, if he was a fish, then I would definitely be ahead of most of his range.
