Hello!

This guy has a very small PFR and even though it's a pretty small ammount of hands, this is probably JJ+, maybe even QQ+. I don't think that capping flop will kill the action here so I'd go for a flop cap and just valuetown him since he's a calling station. Of course call 3-bet raise turn is a good play as well, but I think that he will bet turn anyways so you lose one small bet by not capping here.

If you got 3-bet on turn you still have to cap turn as you're getting 63% equity and you only need 50% equity for the cap.

If he'd still bet river after your turn cap I'd just call river.

Hey primzi what do u mean we only need 50% equity for a cap?
I always thought we need 66% to 3bet someone on turn shouldnt we need more for a cap?
If you could explain that to me i would appreciate it :)

Hello Gape!

We need 67% equity to raise when we are sure that every better hand will 3-bet us. This means that we will pay 2 additional bets when we're behind (we can't fold to a 3-bet) and gain one when we're ahead.

Because the oponnent cannot raise our cap (there isn't a 5-bet in FL), we only pay max. one additional bet when we're behind and gain one when we're ahead. The only thing we need to do is adjust oponnent's hand range from his betting range to his 3-betting range.

Also in some cases we don't need 67% equity to raise but a bit less (in the cases where not all better hands will 3-bet us).

I hope everything is clear now, if it isn't please reply here again or contact me on skype :).
