Hi, I am currently planning to set up a private poker event. Any tips on how to provide more statistics during the game? Like current bank roll of each player, pre-flop behaviour etc.? Playing online gives you so much opportunity but during face-to-face poker it is kind of boring for a data guy like me.

Happy for any hints =)

Hi PokergAIst,
Welcome to PokerStrategy.com :welcome:

Other than decent poker chips — which you count before and after every event — and decent cards, the only thing that might be useful is a clock.
A house rules card would be helpful as well.

You say "event" — so if there are more than two tables, you'll need some non-playing assistants.

A dealing shoe might be helpful.

Statistics? If you have one observer per table, that person could track the stacks, but usually it is the responsibility of the individual players to keep track of the other players' stacks.

Good luck hosting the event!
