1. UTG was reasonable, MP2 a complete lunatic. Not even a maniac, a lunatic. Hoping UTG was on AK or AJ, my flop raise was an attempt to isolate MP2, as he would bet and raise with anything. He seemed to take every raise as an insult to his honour. When UTG checks the turn, it looked right again. I felt I probably had the best hand, but didn't know how far to push it. Should I 3bet the river? The K is in my favour, and the FD isn't really a consideration.

Ok let me do it a bit quicker this time. still a lot to do today

1) Hand Nr1 you can play it even more aggressive when you really have a read on villain being a lunatic !!! ♦ Important is that you bet the turn to face UTG again with 2 bets to call. He could perhaps fold a hand like AQ here sometimes.

And then it depends on your balls what you are willing to risk ♦ If you think you have the read then FIRE!

This hand is interesting. The mistake is not that big if you don't know what to do just play straight forward. But longterm you will loose some value with this line.

So first of all the board is not very draw heavy.

You have position = everything under control

I mean it is very easy here either you are ahead or you are behind. When you are ahead you will scare a 9 out of the pot with that line when you are behind which is not unlickly (2pair) it will get very expensive and you can't get out of the hand.

So just call his flop check-raise!

Then on the turn after you imrpoved you should raise the turn because you will more often get paid out by weaker 2pairs/aces. If you wouldn't improve just call down here!

1) I checked the hand history and looked into this guy. Of 76 hands, he folded 7, and one of those was a timeout. Every pot he entered, he saw the flop, no matter how many bets it cost.
His first actions preflop were: Limp, 26 (but calling every raise and 3 bet after), Call a Raise, 9, Open Raise or Raise, 28 and Reraise 6.

I only played about 10 hands and won 40BB from this guy. A dream. I'm not sure what UTG had, but maybe he didn't know how this guy played, and it worked in my favour. MP2 played this way with pocket fives here BTW

2) That's what I was thinking. The 2 pair are a possibility, and I have committed myself with my 3 bet. Even if he doesn't have 2 pair, I will get more value by calling the flop and then raising the turn after I improve, or just calling down otherwise. I will learn to slow down and think before making my plays.
