3-way with no draws, this is a disciplined fold — well played.
Pre-flop, however, I suggest making your standard opening raise — whether 2.5x in the modern way, or 3x as in the past.
This way, you may attract 3-Bets, at which point you shove.

In this particular hand you would (maybe) lose a stack, but over time you win more.

I would most likely just Cbet and re-evaluate on further action.
Around half pot is big enough against most likely 2 passive villains and than you can escape if you face a raise.
Folding against 1 bet and a call on a coordinated board seems really tight.
Pre-flop I would normally open raise around 3x or the table is really passive than a bigger sizing isn't to bad.

Cheers,

Thanks for the reply!

Regarding the opening raise -- I've realized that people will call with extremely bad hands if I open raise 2.5 or 3bb so I've been opening with 5bb to keep bad players from gambling and often making hands against me. Do you really think that opening 2.5x 3x is advisable in 2NL? I don't know. Since I've been experimenting with 5bb I've been having less problems with stupid hands making better hands than mine. But I don't know maybe I'm just finding excuses for playing badly when I opened with 3bb, haha!

My experience (which isn't as much as yours probably) is that if people have something in such a coordinated board they will bet, otherwise just check, at least at 2NL. That's why I checked. When they placed the bet I knew they would have the nuts. I might be wrong sometimes but I figure I'll be right most of the times at least at 2NL. I'm open for a discussion but I've realized that at 2NL most people, and special VPIPs around 20, will only bet the nuts.

Fair enough, but I would expect villain can easy bet top pair or a decent flush draw like this as well.
