Nightmare for AA at MP, 3 calls. IP CO hasn't shown any stupid moves or over aggressivity, BTN quite aggressive, OOP SB fishy guy with 43bb stack who may overplay his hands.

BTN: $2.13 (106.5 bb)
SB: $0.87 (43.5 bb)
BB: $2.54 (127 bb)
UTG: $1.67 (83.5 bb)
Hero (MP): $2.40 (120 bb)
CO: $2.00 (100 bb)

SB posts $0.01, BB posts $0.02

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.03) Hero has A♠: 3♣: J♥: A♣:
fold, Hero raises to $0.07, CO calls $0.07, BTN calls $0.07, SB calls $0.06, fold

Flop: ($0.30, 4 players) 5♣: 2♥: 6♣:

Hero has over pair, nut fd and weak gs. Lot of hands that may at least call or raise if hero bets, 3456,5678, 6789 and 789T with fd, sets etc. Micro-players autopilot says pot and shove...

4way I would start with a check. If we bet and face a raise, we are usually flipping. If we bet and get called, we bloat the pot and are quite lost in the turn unless a Club comes.

So I did, switched autopilot of and checked. Flop went checked, that was big surprize and made me thinking if check was too weak. Turn A♥: making  fd, pot and not planning to fold if raised, BTN called, river 4♣:, half pot and small pot home.

Autopilot pot-shove 4way? There is definitively something wrong with your autopilot then. The recommended sizing is small like half-pot only. This situation in general is a high check% spot oop because of the straight texture so a check-call should be our standard play in this situation. With our AA+nfd in particular it´s a 95% check.

This is a logically flawed result orientated thinking. Let´s say you have nuts otr and you bet and villain folds. Is betting now a mistake? You cannot control the action of other players so during the hand their action actually has no impact on the quality of our own decision.

Turn and river makes sense. But when betting half pot otr you gonna need some bluffs here too so if you had a nutflushblocker or sth. you´d be bluffing with lower FE. If you bet small to bring more valuebets with non-nutted flushes, it´s hard to have enough bluffs here but prolly still fine in an exploitative sense when villain call more against smaller sizings.

PLO2, our river sizings should focus 100% on either value or FE, and never include any thoughts of balance. :f_drink:

But for balanced approach, my recommendation is to stick with one sizing in certain spot and make that range balanced enough. At lower stakes to actually be in a river bet situation that requires balance, is quite rare.

I think check shoving here is an option with the :3x: blocker. OTT you will most likely face a shove and you will be in difficult spot, you will either call/fold incorrectly. You have the equity to check shove the flop.

My autopilot is controllable but for lot of PLO2 players it seems to be locked to pot size cbet in any position on any flop against any number of villains:)

I use most of time 50% value bet or semibluff on river against OK marked villains. Againts maniacs or calling stations who have called pot at turn when I have already nut flush may bet 100% because they will call with any flush river also. Or sometimes 33% to make them shove.

Ye I forgot. I am kinda in a tunnel vision. Everything I say is kinda biased towards the player pool on my stakes...

It´s true the outcome on how you play on PLO2 is kinda completely different dynamics wise.

In general it makes sense to size it down a little on certain textures. If you bet bigger your range is supposed to be polarized, a rule of thumb is to bet pot on rivers when you have more than 20% of villains range beat. So extrapolated backwards if villain has a solid continuation otf, bettin pot is not ideal. Bc having SDV with AAxx and no front-end nuttiness.
