Are you barreling here? More importantly what is the ev difference here between bet and give up? My thoughts are that it ev difference isn't significant and so it doesn't matter much which option we chose vs unknown. Is that correct?
Imo he mainly has 2PR combos, as most sets raise flop/turn. So mainly K6/K9 maybe 69+equity and trace amount of 2-FH. Flop bet and turn barrel are mandatory right?
Give up has always EV of 0. Betting on the other hand is not probably even +EV. I would check back flop, with middle pair and few backdoors. And you can use TT blockers later if you choose. Once he calls the flop you don't really have a lot of FE on the blank turn. So turn bet is to set up a river barrel, and that board will not have many good rivers to do that. Here you are blocking the draws and he probably calls you with any Kxxx. Check flop, check turn.
I thought this hand class board pair blocker+RR+bdfd+FDB is a prime candidate to semi-bluff with OTF. I can delay c-bet OTT but why not just bet OTF? Why wait for the turn? OTT I block turn improves with:diamond::diamond: and I still block middle pair + straights/wraps/gd and also I have a :club:. It's very hard to find a hand with more blockers that want semi-bluff rather than check back? Also the 2 shouldn't improve him a lot. OTR I can shove any
any
any :Qx::Jx::7x::8x::5x: and maybe :Tx:.
