The recommended buy in for NL2 is 80c and you leave if you go above $1.
The only problem is that on GG poker the min buy in is $1 so do I amend and leave with anything over say $1.25.

$1 would be 50bb, so our strategy differs a bit than with 40bb. You can call a bit more wide, shove with a bit tighter range, ... If you want to use the 40bb strategy, you can buy in for 50bb and not rebuy if you are between 40 and 50bb.
