[Closed] Wow, I'm definitely playing these wrong.

You goto think what your opponent has. It is crucial to let go of TPTK and overpairs at points to prevent major losses.

Like when I play AK I become very aware of villain action if there are 2 or more face cards on the flop/turn etc.

By the way how do you check that with HEM? Any filter or so I have to turn on to show my least profitable hand etc.? Would really like to find mine out too.

I just went to cash games > pre-flop cards, and then searched each card type to see how much those hole cards have won/lost. You can filter all other holecards out of your graphs too apart from these so you can see your overall loses combined.

Without HH can't say a thing.. Also, what sample?

it seems to be very strong hands that cause you to lose money (i.e. KK QQ).

so i think perhaps you are not protecting them enough
or perhaps you find them too hard fold postflop.

I find them hard to protect a lot of the time. People at the limit I play (NL25) seem to float you in so many spots, before hitting their two outter on the turn or something.

I don't really throw them away easily too, unless there's one card to a flush/straight, a couple of overcards, or a couple of paired face cards that my opponents could have.

What can I improve on? These hands are obviously the biggest leak in my game, And after losing $240~ with them over 1700 hands I really can't dread losing anymore.

Actually 1700 hands is too small of a sample. I also have periods where KK are negative for me etc.

I've been looking at my stats to find my leaks. My fold to continuation bet is small, extremely small. I think I float too many opponents, at the wrong times. I guess this is another flaw I have to fix.

You have an easier and better way

Cash Games -> Reports -> Holecards (on "Select Report name from List" on top left).

Hope u start winning with those hands. 1700 hands is too low a sample

I hope I start winning with these hands too. I mainly usually only play KTo as a steal or against tight opponents. AK is a very iffy hand for me, I've ran into a lot of sets when flopping TPTK or top two pair. And everytime I get kings I either run into aces or the board shows two queens or something.

Fuck variance.

Huge reraise with pocket 10s? i am no pokerpro but, when he opens from early on and call your reraise. I would assume he had AQ or better. maybe pocket JJ+. But still, I would've done the same on the flop, trying to keep the pot avager when I hit my trips.

I usually raise to a random number so my opponents can't count whether or not they have the odds to call.
