i tend to c-bet it too here and see what he does. if he shoves i fold it, no harm done

checking is not a bad option but if he didnt have the A now he has control of the hand, and the only way to take it from him is to hit a Q on the turn, so in effect you paid $5 to possibly win $7 instead of getting nothing out of the hand for sure.

maybe if you checked it and he checked the turn and you bet it.. maybe then. but you give away a free card for the turn.

i dont know, i think your line is pretty decent. i would do the same. if it is opinions you are after lol

(the only reason i am sometimes attempting a reply to these posts is because i want to be reminded that a judge has made a decision so that i get a tip on interesting hands too)

Thanks for your thoughts. Fold seemed best here.

How do you set the reminder to see whether Judge has posted, though?

Well, I've only been posting here for 5 months. No reason why I should have picked that up

Ehm calling a check/raise is only catching a bluff and you don't catch a bluff often enough to be profitable.
So with calling a c/r here you are burning money!

I just cBet/Fold here, other lines are just pointless ;)
