Hi all

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Known players:
[tg]MP1$0.97:///////;MP2$2.67:///////;MP3$2.42:///////;CO$0.28:///////;BU$6.17:///////;SB$0.80:///////;BB$1.96:///////;UTG2(Hero)$2.47:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is UTG2 with K:s, K:c.
Hero raises to $0.08, 3 folds, CO calls $0.08, BU calls $0.08, 2 folds.

Flop: ($0.27) 7:d, 3:s, T:s (4 players)
Hero bets $0.18, CO folds, BU raises to $0.36, Hero calls $0.18.

Turn: ($0.99) 9:d (3 players)
Hero checks, BU bets $0.55, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $1.54.

It felt like a set or at least 2 pairs to me, that min-raise on the flop looks suspicious, at the turn I played c/f because I didn't think I was ahead.

Though I think I could have the following
-Shove or fold flop after that min-raise. Though I don't think I'll shove because I think I was probably beat.

-Bet the turn, but then again I'll probably play b/f or have to make a hard decision on the river.

What's your opinion?

Thanks

i think u cant fold kings here in nl2, he can be doing that with a T, probably I check/call the turn and the river

I'm re-raising the flop & going broke. It's NL2, there's no way I'm folding an overpair here.

It's NL2, he can minraise with Tx,worser PP or draws. Also it's unlikely for him to flop a set (12.5% if he did happened to have a PP)
So 3bet/shove for value and protection.

You guys are right. What was I thinking!!!

It appears that I'm being more and more careful as I play better, which may be a bad thing.

Had a huge upswing shortly before this, won 6BI in the matter of a few minutes, then I started playing really carefully and probably much more tighter than usual.
