Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

He capped preflop and the board was dry, so I decided to cap every street.
I did not have any notes on him, but putting him on 99 or JJ was too unlikely.

Well, i personally would've played this hand more carefully, but if you have a read (Villain is a maniac, or tends to overplay overpairs) i guess capping is ok.
I think i would've played:
preflop -> cap
flop -> reraise,call 3-bet
turn -> the deuce is more or less a blank, it's hard to put villain on any hand with a deuce, so if you were ahead before you're most likely still ahead. I either reraise and call 3bet or just call.I think i tend to go for raise/call.
River -> I call a raise, or bet for value in case of a check. Villain showed a lot of strength so i think i tend to play it on the safe side. Also the J is kinda scary since it takes out one of the possible hands you have beat.

Wonder what this could be..

Hi!

I think you can play this hand the standard way when having a strong hand IP...call flop/raise turn(against a reasonable oponent).

And his play is ofcourse dumb.I would add him as my buddy:)

I like the way you think. Ecluding hands because of the preflop play is something very important. But you have to think the other way around as well.
If you don't see him playing 99 or JJ this way preflop which hands would he play this way postflop? I think at a certain point you have to include these hands again.

I would play this hand with the standard line. That is call flop, raise turn. If he 3-bets I cap as he can very well play TT-KK this way.
Alternativly you can raise the flop, call his 3-bet and raise the turn again. In this case you should only calldown against a 3-bet.
