No Limit Holdem Tournament
$15+$1
9 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG (1400)
UTG+1 (1770)
MP1 (870)
MP2 (1470)
MP3 (1420)
CO (2080)
BTN (1520)
Hero (SB) (1470)
BB (1500)

Blinds: 15/30

Pre-flop: (45, 9 players) Hero is SB T♥ A♥
UTG calls 30, 6 folds, Hero calls 15, BB checks

Flop: 7♦ 9♠ T♣ (90, 3 players)
Hero bets 60, BB folds, UTG calls 60

Turn: 6♦ (210, 2 players)
Hero bets 110, UTG raises to 240, Hero folds

Final Pot: 430

UTG wins 560 ( won +230 )
BB lost -30
Hero lost -200

I chose to bet/fold because I think in case he completed the straight it's less expensive than check/calling and having to play a river. In case he just calls the turn, what should my river play be?

Hi all,

I'd definitely pot the flop given it's limped, but that's not that important..

On the turn, most of the draws hit. I think it's better to check/call the turn and bet/fold the river if he checks back or check/fold the river if he bets the turn and the river.

As played if he called you on the turn I think our best line on the river is to check/call, but that's pretty crappy (investing a lot of money with a really weak hand given the istuation).
