Villain was weak player, called raises with speculative hands in MP, etc. I've seen him bluffing a missed flush on the river with A high in a raised pot.
I bet pot for protection, and shove because my flush is so weak that any fd has me crushed so slowplaying is terrible. He probably can't let go of a draw+pair or something, and sometimes he'll have the A :diamond:X 
but that would be too much bad luck even for me.
