I also think your c/r size on the turn is a little too much, not sure if he would fold there set, but he can fold there two pair, since you likely has JT+ at that point

I like your line.

If you donk the turn it will look strong since the pot is very big at that point and if you just c/c the turn i think your opponent will check back the majority of his range at the river so you'd have to donkbet there to get max value - but your c/c on the turn on this board looks strong itself and the river-donkbet would be even stronger.
By checkraising the turn you can hope that he talks himself into a call with a 2pair-hand if he thinks you're doing it with a toppair+picked-up-OESD type hand.

Btw 3betting at the flop is an option as well. Your opponent is good (as you said) so he'll know that your MP2-range has missed this flop oftentimes and even if you call his flopraise you will give up at the turn oftentimes.
So i think he could very well be blufraising, by 3betting you'll take the pot down oftentimes and even if you get called by 66 you still have 25% equity.
If you just call OOP you'll have a hard time on the turn if you don't hit one of your 8 outs - even if you hit a Q or a K it's tough if he keeps barreling.
