The last decent run i had on PS was over four months ago.

Suppose i can only blame myself for returning every few weeks

If you have been losing at pokerstars for 4 months the only thing to blame is your own bad play.

I have noticed that.

i play the $3.25 - $ 6.50 sng,mix it up with some $10 tournaments.Been doing pretty well on rebuy tournaments which has had a negative influence on my sng game. The consistent losing of late game allins is just pissing me off.

Checked my stats on sharkscope the other day and i was suprised to see that i have 31%roi,been losing steadily for months

Hey DjAdolfMixer,

I have to say that im not much of a SnG player but i think 31% is a huge ROI. This could just be variance catching up but always remember to anyalyse your game to make sure.

U should see my recent run on the 16$ turbo SnGs ... I'm having a hard resisting writting an angry email to the stars support team ... I don't think I've ever had so many split pots, runner runner fk overs, kicker problems, or just dry spells ... god I'm so depressed right now :\

Lol u have 31% roi? over how many tourneys??

I like to think of it this way.....Randomness can make or break you.

I once read a book about randomness called "Fooled by randomness"

Its aimed at the stockmarket but the stockmarket and poker have simular problems.....They are both random, but the traders and players both believe that the cream will rise to the top, in an Darwinian evolution style. But simply due to randomness this will not aways happen.

Some people will make millions through poker, will they be the best poker players in the world....maybe but not all of them, that I firmly believe.

Dont get me wrong you need skill, if you dont have it you are most likely to fail but some will slip through the net and win and win big.

Think of it this way, I build a sand castle on the beach. Im sat admiring by excelent work.(This translates into your poker profits that have been built)
The tide comes in and slowly starts to wear away at your castle(Bankroll)

Now is the last grain of sand that gets washed away responsable for the colapse of the castle? This is a nonlinear run of bad luck that we like to call tilt.

Im not saying you are a bad player or a good play but just know that last grain of sand can happen to anyone.
