Preflop I make my standard raise with 1 limper behind me. Unfortunately the button who is a relatively tight 13/7 player makes a 3 bet. UTG2 calls and I'm more than priced in to make the call.
The flop comes rag and I want to see what the button does. He does the expected con bet and UTG2 folds. With UTG2 out I now have a decent chance to take down this pot without a showdown. I have seen Button fold to aggression postflop with what I'm assuming was semi weak holdings.
Turn comes 8s and its time to do a check reraise to either take the pot down now or set myself up for a nice bluff on the river. Button makes the bet, I make the raise, and unfortunately for me he calls, showing minor strength.
River comes 5 putting a gutshot on the board. At this point I make my planned bet. I'm going to lose if Button makes the call, I think he has AKo or AKs as that is really one of the only hands in his range he would have called the reraise with on the turn without 3 betting or folding. Thankfully he folds to my bet.
