Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A:h, 9:h.
MP2 folds, Hero raises to $320.00, 3 folds, BB calls $240.00.

Flop: ($680) 3:c, A:s, 4:s (2 players)
BB raises to $1,515.00(All-In), Hero calls $735.00(All-In).

Turn: ($2930) 9:c (2 players)

River: ($2930) 6:d (2 players)

Final Pot: $2930.

He had 6's btw. But did i play it right? My initial raise was just to try and steal blinds since they were all playing uber tight preflop.

Im new to this site. But A 9 isnt on the hand chart for stealing blinds.

But....you shouldent have gone all in.......because he called your raise in the first place. So that tells you he has a decent hand.

If they dont fold before the flop and call ur raise....then you have to play the hand normally.

Hi Amplifyd

The preflop raise is too big, you made it 4x
Making it 4x you have pretty much commited yourself to the pot as you have put 1/3rd of your stack in the middle.

Also I dont think you can steal the blinds from UTG+1

But as played on the flop you have to call I think for two reasons

1 as mentioned earlied you have already commited 1/3rd of your stack and with his call makes the pot around the size of your stack.

2. At lower levels these all in shoves are "often" not always a weak A or pocket pair.

The way I would have played it, as you only have 13 big blinds, I would have shoved preflop. That being said the stack sizes behind you are a bit too big for the shove with A9s I might shove ATs

If you pop it into sngwiz and adjust the ranges to more sensible calling ranges it is a clear fold.
ATs by the way is a marginal shove.
