Hi mate,

First, my sympathies. I know only too well how it feels. I'm $750 down over last 3 months - around 60BI across NL50 and NL100.

One thing, though. I try to console myself that it's only really a bad beat if I had the better hand preflop and went on to lose the pot. So, I don't get sad when my Kings go up against Aces. That hand with JQ vs 22 is a pretty sick beat, but on the other hand, it's not as if you are favourite preflop. Again, if you openshoved 44 and got called by someone with K8s and they made a flush by the river you'd rightly feel like it was a bad beat the other way round.

For me, hands like JJ losing to 65 or AK losing to A5 hurt the most. It seems so unjust. A clever person once told me the best thing is to see these losses as an investment in the fish which will - like a stock market returning from a fall - eventually pay you nice dividends.
GL,
Tim

:)

what were you doing in nl50?

excelgeo
Joined: 17.10.2008

is it carrying on?

oh sure it is.

crack my AA 7 times in a row.

blank my AK all the time.

everyone hits a pair when i have AQ and it is a K high flop.

A LITTLE RECAP:

had 280. moved up to 800. received 300 total in rakeback.

i have 450.

losing so much faith.

Ah i think today full tilt is killing pokerstrategist.

2d i could not even go above my 0$ before 3900 hand >_>

here is the graph

I have stop to play as soon as i have break-even >_>

All my pocket pairs did not hit sets the out 7:1 on flop was like 100:1

And also a lot of fishy call where small draws like 5 7 call my 3-bet raise then on flop they get the nut straight >_<!

2d was an annoying day.

Perhaps full tilt change there card generator >_>

dont you think you should play in lower limits ? 0.25/0.50 is a bit too high for your BR If you play NL
at least that is what I think. Maybe I should reread the articles...

no my limits are fine, back to nl50 with over 400 bucks

and i make withdrawals too

anyway

Comments on the post with a lot of hands:

JJ hand: Raise more pf. Don't go crazy on paired boards when you meet resistance.
TT hand: He calls 2 streets and donks river when the A drops, I think I fold here without a read.

Didnt know you SSS players raised K8s from the BU =)
