Is T9 good enough to try to steal big blind?- made standard 3xBB bet. I have enough chips left, blind level is 20/40 and he doesn´t have to protect any hand. Don´t know what about limping or folding.

in a early stage of a tournament i do nothing fancy. because the blinds are still very small it is not worth taking a risk. u could complete the blind when ur hand is suited, but J9o is for me a fold. it is even below the average hand (Q7).

It depends... If you think your opponent usually folds then you can try but if he reraises you you must go out. The problem is you can lose far more than you gain by stealing. But as bosch said, early stages are not really made for being to creative (rebuy tourneys are an exception)

whats ur profit on stealing? 3040 chips instead of 3000 ?
risk is 2800 chips

I hoped he would fold, because of my tight image, but profit is really small. Next time I´ll fold, or complite
