Hi,
I just played this hand on a 6$ SNG (standard, not speed), but i'm pretty sure i played it awfully ^^
I didn't notice I had an open-ended draw, that's why I just checked...and i bet small on the river because of the possible flush...
Is the check on the turn correct?

No-Limit Hold'em Tournament ($6), Blinds 30/60 (8 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 8♦, 5♠
2 folds, MP2 calls $60.00, MP3 calls $60.00, CO calls $60.00, BU folds, Hero calls $30.00, BB checks.

Flop: (300) J♥, 9♦, 7♥ (5 players)
Hero checks, BB bets 200, 3 folds, Hero calls $200.00.

Turn: (700) 4♣ (2 players)
Hero checks, BB checks.

River: (700) 6♥ (2 players)
Hero bets 120, BB calls $120.00.

Final Pot: 940

You should almost always bet the flop, regardless of your cards, when you complete and BB only checks (ok, texture of the board and opponent can make the difference).

River bet is defo too small.

What are the stacks? They do count

btw that's not OESD, it's double gutshot which is better than OESD because it's less scarry for your opponents. (higher implied odds)
