Totally agree, "you guessed he had the Queen" which means your beat, so you should check/fold, looks very early in the tournament and certaintly not a spot where you should shove all your chips in the middle.
Read the articles carefully which guide you on when not to play good hands like trips e.g. on very drawy flops etc.
This said, unlucky, regroup and try again next time.

Well i did but thought id find out anyways. if i checked he would push at some point and i would call anyways cos its a tourney and thats how we roll.
I was not 100 percent obviously i was just presuming i was beat cos thats how that site works but thought fck it and gambled anyways cos its just a tourney.

If you want to gamble, thats fine, stick it on the 2.15 at Chepstow, but if you want to learn how to go deep in tournaments, let us help you. I would happily explain to you how I would have played this hand as I'm sure others would be too. We all want to see you win these type of tournaments and not wildly gamble on them.
If you'd like us to go through this with you, please just say so.

preflop raise is not a very good size. Your flop bet does not have the right size either.
The turn is of course not a good card for you. If I knew stacksizes it'd be easier - you could be pot committed which makes the push okay.

you need to change your view and outlook on poker and possibly life in general too.
