Hi all

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)

Known players:
[tg]UTG2$1.85:///////;MP1$2.94:///////;MP2$4.45:///////;MP3$0.80:///////;CO$0.78:///////;BU$1.05:///////;SB$1.00:///////;BB(Hero)$2.00:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is BB with A:h, Q:h.
UTG2 raises to $0.04, 6 folds, Hero calls $0.02.

My mistake, should have re-raised him. Don't know why I didn't.

Flop: ($0.09) K:d, 2:d, A:c (2 players)
Hero bets $0.06, UTG2 calls $0.06.

Turn: ($0.21) 3:c (2 players)
Hero bets $0.12, UTG2 raises to $0.24, Hero calls $0.12.

Min-raise looks weird, but decided to call.

River: ($0.69) 8:d (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG2 bets $0.12, Hero calls $0.12.

I think it was likely that I was behind, so just checked, he made a weird small bet, which was perfect for me to call.

Final Pot: $0.93.

Results follow:

Hero shows a pair of aces(Ah Qh).
UTG2 shows three of a kind, kings(Ks Kh).

UTG2 wins with three of a kind, kings(Ks Kh).

Think i would have have reraised him 3x then fold if he had 3-bet me as the min raise for me is fishy too and may be a small pairs. But if i was a 3-4 BB raised from UTG i would fold without hesitation.

Flop - same 3/4 pot

Turn - 3/4 pot instead of min-raised as 1/2 pot mean weakness and he will re-raised to make you fold.

River - c/c as the board got flushed now.

This is the way i would have played it.

But maybe should fold preflop as AK will dominate you.

But with this fishy min-raised think it is ok if you reraised but not call xD

Lol dunno just my opinion.

Hi,

this would be my line:
Preflop: 3-bet/fold to 0.15$
Flop: 3/4 pot
Turn: 3/4 pot, call to minraise, fold to normal raise
River: ch/c to that smallish bet, ch/f to a bigger bet (if minraised on turn)

Let's see what the judges think.

Best regards,
Anin

Looks fine to me if you wanna donk the flop for some reason, like he's really passive postflop maybe. I'd usually start by check/calling the flop since either he has nothing and he's gonna c-bet it on AKx if he's at all aggressive but he'll fold to our donkbet, or he has something and he's likely gonna c-bet it anyway.

Hope it helps.
