Shove is fine there
I wouldn´t fold my hand, but you can also consider c/c to induce shove from worse hands, like small pp-s or random suited connectors

Ok thanks. I got burnt by AQ, then thought that the shove might be a mistake considering the two overcards to my 88. a lot of his cold calling hands are high unpaired cards, and the only hand of that sort that wasn't hit by that flop was KJ... and there are even fish that know to fold KJ to a 3bet!

But with that shove, I'm getting 99-JJ to lay down there. I also appreciate the idea about eliciting a bluff. Thanks.
