I certainly made a mistake by not putting him all-in at once on the flop, but was it a good decision to re-raise him?

I‘d fold pf if he's tight~


Just flat the flop and fold to a turn bet/check down if unimproved, we're only isolating ourselves against better by raising.


I think it all depends how aggressive SB is, if he has 3-bet often enough then it is fine board to get all-in, since he´d often shove there high flushdraw.
If he is nit, then likely folding on the flop is better
