This guy had just sat down. No info on him.
His small raise to me 4-bet disturbed me so I folded.
Bad move without info?

Just to save other member the trouble, I know you would have all bet teh Jacks up to 5bb preF

I guess if I make that $3 re raise I need to be prepared to go all in. By raising and folding there I am making a bad play from what I understand

I think folding is ok. It's unlikely he has something like AK with his 3bet.

But why check the flop? A overpair is a strong hand on a flop like this, it's better if you bet fold. I'm 99% sure he doesn't have a straight.

After you check the flop, it might also be better to just flat call and re-evaluate the turn.

prefer isolation raise pf, makes your hand easier to play
on the flop if you c/r you have to go with your hand, since he can also 3-bet with smaller overpairs
if you don´t want to go all-in, then c/c flop, turn and some times rivers
