Villain is 28/27 after 72 hands. AF 2.7; Cbet flop 100% (6). Seems kind of LAG/Taggish. Had just seen him raise A5s from utg so felt a 3bet was fine. After he 4bets I think I am probably crushed by the range of hands he does this with, but didn't just want to give up the hand preflop. Instinct tells me we can't play low pps this way as a general rule?
Well, on the flop I just get lucky and it's pretty standard, I think.
One thing though: I might have considered calling this flop even without hitting my set. I can't see why he would bet potsize with an overpair here as such a bet doesn't get value. Few hands earlier, villain had flopped a flush and bet 2/3 pot. This bet looks more like he's trying to buy the pot, not having hit. I can't see any value in AA or KK or QQ playing this way as there is no need to protect. What say you?
