Hey everyone!
A bit about me. I'm 24 from Newcastle, Australia, and work full tilt as a Tournament Director for a local pub poker company. Like alot of poker players, i come from a Magic: The Gathering background and I've been playing Hold'em now for about 5 years after seeing it on TV and wondering how it worked (i'd only played 5 card draw up to that point).
I started out playing live freeroll tournaments, then slowly moved to live cash MTT's. back then i was a uni student, had a few good cashes in the live games, and decided to give online poker a try.
i deposited $50 onto PokerRoom.com back then, played PLO25, turned it into $200 after one night, and ended the week with a $2k bankroll (this was only 2 tabling, so probably less than 1000 hands... god i must have run good back then)...
In the end, variance got the better of me, and altho i had several good withdrawals, i eventually was left with about $100, and moved that over to FullContactPoker.com's skin, and promptly lost it ![]()
Since then, i've messed around with online poker, not as seriously as i should have... I've had success at live ring games, playing anything from NL100 to NL1000 live, and the biggest game i've ever sat in was a PLO2000 game.
I actually originally refered justkyle88 to this site, since then he's gone on to become a moderator and crush MTT's, so i decided that i needed to take poker a bit more seriously online and actually start at the bottom and work my way up, using good BRM and constantly working to try and improve my skills for online.
Since i've had shocking BRM in the past, i'm setting a rule for myself now, which is different to the BRM suggested on this site:
I will move up in limits when I have at least 40 BI at that level, and will move back down to the lower level if i have less than 25 BI for the higher level
Using this as a guide, I will move to NL5 with a BR of $200 (40BI @ NL5), and move back down to NL2 if my BR drops below $125 (25BI @ NL5).
Also, I will move to NL10when my BR reaches $400 (40BI @ NL10), and back down if my BR reaches $250 (25BI @ NL10)
So, where i'm at as of now 16 Oct 09
My graphs are actually divided in half, as I play at home and also in the office in my lunch breaks.

Bankroll: $129.89 (Full Tilt)
Currently Playing: NL2 BSS (12 tables at home, 9 at office)
Short Term Goals
Keep Grinding NL2 to get a BR of $200
Session Review after every session, posting hands here and in the hand judge threads
Organise Sweat Sessions with justkyle88 or any other players who are grinding the micro stakes
Keep reading the articles I have access to
Refer Friends to this site, i need an additional $15 TAF to be able to move $50 across to my PokerStars account, which is the account tracked on here
Grind enough on Stars to get Silver level on here to access next level of articles/video's
Move up to NL5 BSS
Long Term Goals
After beating NL5, build a BR of $400 and move to NL10 BSS
Work out the best site for me to play on long term (I prefer the software for Full Tilt, but dont have rakeback on my account, and my stars account is the one tracked here, but stars doesn't offer rakeback at all)
Attend coachings as much as possible (hard when my work roster moves around so much, video session reviews are alot more convenient for me)
