[Closed] Raise for freeSD against donkbet

Ok what is your thinking behind a raise here?

Given the stats of your opponent I think his range here is a pair+ in a 3-way pot and if he is somehow donking a worse hand he's probably not barreling the river also.

With these assumptions you have to improve to win the showdown and calling achieves that cheaply. Wouldn't raising just achieve giving him an extra BB unimproved when you don't have to?

SB is likely on overcards so he's not going to have you dominated in any way but actually vice versa, if he's got any Ax/Qx, makes a loose overcall and improves on the river it will go SB donk->BB call ->you raise = $$$$$$

The raise for a free showdown becomes powerful when we can make better hands fold which isn't the case at all here.

Instead of a question of what the right thing to do is, try explain your thinking behind your action in the original post cause thats far more important than the actual answer.

I don't know what I was thinking, probably that BB had a draw but looking the hand that is very unlikely
