hand #2 is an easy fold regarding villain's agression.

I don't really like your line on hand #1. According to this article : http://www.pokerstrategy.com/strategy/fixed-limit/1290/ you need 27% equity in a 4.25BB pot. I think (didn't stove it) that you are just below these 2 numbers

Hi Confeti.

1) i like the hand as he can call a lot draws on the flop. But OlivierLu is right as well he has to have enough draws in here to make a calldown profitable and a paired turn is no good card to try a bluff on his side. If he's arather a TAG than a LAG I check/fold the turn else I play it as you did.
River is complicated as well. He will bet a lot for value but after you turnplay I don't see him bluffing the river very often if he is a thinking (not too thinking as this may reverse it again *g*) TAG.

2) After him calling this pretty dry flop with just 34% wts and 45% fold to flopbet I check/fold the turn and don't worry about folding the best hand as you almost never have the best hand here. He will even check behind most worse hands which have a draw.

ciRith, in the 2nd hand, if the villain is a rather TAG than a LAG would you play C/F? Why not B/F? As you say, a paired turn is no good card to try a bluff on his side. So I think we have to bet, don't you think?

You mean rather LAG than TAG? As this guy is never a LAG.

Against this passive guy you won't be bluffed too often so that's check/fold.

Against a LAG I still tend to check/fold. The paired board makes a bluff less likely and you won't get a free showdown very often as if they bluff the continue very often on the river too.
If you think he is aggressive enough to bluff here very often then check/call is the best. You won't get called by a worse hand anymore so it's not for value. And a better hand won't fold too often as well as the paired board is less scary.
The advantage of a bet is that you may make him fold a worse hand instead of folding the best hand with check/fold but how man worse hands could he call on the flop? Not a lot.
Additionally you may protect against a draw.

But I don't think that these advantages are big enough to justify a bet here so I check/fold or check/call depending on your reads.
