+1 your bet on the turn doesn't achieve much , you are not going to get more than 1 street against pockets and if he calls and shoves river or if he shoves now you are in a tought spot you could have easily avoided

I just call the preflop raise here I think but as played I bet the flop and fold to a raise.

I assume it was the early fase, lots of maniacs...

I'm always scared of an ace in these spots... Seriously, there is always someone at the table that will call this raise with A2o+.

I'd check the turn too.

On the other hand, the board is not scary.. He could have a smaller PP 88, 99, TT... Maybe K9+ if he is a maniac... As you already commited a lot of chips and would hava a playable stack if you loose, so I think I'd consider a call here.

Anyway, this guy was playing pretty wild and i did notice that he was showing aggression on the flop pretty much every time he had something so because of that i decided to check the flop and wait for him to act first....so when he checked i was quite covinced he didn't have an A, was just a bit concerned with a small A maybe...but called anyway ♦

Turned out he had KT off....

But it was a weirdly played hand I must admit...

i think i would just call preflop here IP.
but once you make a 3bet its really hard spot.
on the flop i would bet and depending on his stats call/fold to an all in.
if you check the flop i would check the turn as well.
i think here we have somehow a wa/wb situation because if he has an A your wb and if he has pocket lower jacks your wa.
so i would check the hand down to the showdown.
maybe making a small valuebet on the river if no overcard hits.
