Easy bet on the river, you beat everything except same strangely slowplayed Ax, straight with 53(would probably raise turn), some rag twopair and maybe better 9x. Even a passive would probably bet TT+ pf, so you most likely don't have to be afraid of that...

Hi!

I dont think its an easy bet on the river. You have a marginal second pair with bad kicker on a very dry board and as he calls you on the turn he has a made hand that he will go to SD. As you will play b/f you need 50% against his range. My assumption of his rane is 9x,4x,pockets,Ax and better that he will raise you.

Equity Win Tie Loss Hand
Player 1: 49,804% 48,597% 2,414% 48,988% 88-22, A9s-A5s, A3s, K9s, K4s, Q9s, Q4s, J9s, J4s, T9s, T4s, 95s+, 93s, 84s, 74s, 64s, 54s, 43s, A8o-A5o, A3o, K9o, K4o, Q9o, Q4o, J9o, J4o, T9o, T4o, 95o+, 93o, 84o, 74o, 64o, 54o
Player 2: 50,196% 48,988% 2,414% 48,597% 9h6h

This is my very rough estimation :) of what a bad player can have so it is actually very close. But against a passive player I still like to bet as if we check he will mostly only bet better hands on this dry board and check worse ones. Os we lose the same but gain more from worse. Problem is that the guy is unknwon so capable of irrational river raises so against some guys that like to bet when checked to I like to c/c.
Against better oponents(who would play preflop differently in the first place) this board is very close to a c/f as I dont see them having anything else than a low Ax here that they will bet on the river.
