1) 0,15/0,30 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (10 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.7 by www.pokerstrategy.cc.

Preflop: Hero is CO with J♣, J♥
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, 3 folds, Hero raises, BU calls, SB folds, BB 3-bets, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, Hero calls, BU calls.

Flop: (16,47 SB) T♣, 2♣, 9♥ (5 players)
BB bets, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 folds, Hero calls, BU calls.

Turn: (10,23 BB) 8♠ (4 players)
BB bets, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises, BU 3-bets, BB folds, UTG+1 caps, Hero calls, BU calls.

River: (23,23 BB) 9♣ (3 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero folds, BU raises, UTG+1 calls.

Final Pot: 27,23 BB

for protection I wanted to raise the turn instead of the flop: OESD + overpair seemed good to me ;-)
would you fold after the cap?

1) i would raise the flop. but i remember a similar hand in ssh where sklanky says to call the flop and raise a good turn. but i think there where more opponents in the hand so a flop raise should be good here.
you can´t fold the turn. you have at least 6 clean outs and your pot odds are so huge.

2) looks good to me. but i´m not sure about the river.
btw: now i notice that pokerhand.org is indeed a horrible converter. i posted my hands for a long time with it but now i see that its just crap

imho ;)

1) Easy raise on the flop to knock Bu out. The Sklansky hand is again() different (action: bet, raise, call, call, hero ?, last guy, no chance to knock anyone out)
Turn depends then on flop action. If you called the flop I like the turn and river.

2) First thing.. this converter is so bad... its hard to read and the namse confuses me wswitch back to the standard one please and only use ths if really needed.
Finally frzl realizes this too. ;)

Enough of joking around:

Just to give you a look to the future *lol* later on you will 3-bet preflop here, right now its fine. (if you don't want to know that its ok and just don't read it ;) )
The flop raise is nice and the only questional thing is wether to call the 3-bet and raise the turn or play it like you did.
Both is ok and I won't say what you should do because of that. :)

The river is a good value bet I like it very much.

1) yes we talked about a sklansky hand in another thread (i think it was TT) but now i mean another hand... but i think in ssh the hand was KK.
it said that you can´t protect on the flop because the pot is just too big and you should wait for the turn.
unfortunatly i can´t find my ssh right now but i will have a look tomorrow.

Thank you guys for the comments.

I'm sorry about using the horrible converter but the 'standard' one (Texas Grab'em) could not handle the hand correctly ...
