Hello guys,
I'd like to take up a challenge with one of you just to motivate myself to play better, otherwise i am just burning money because i don't care too much about it as i recently won 6000$ in 200K sunday double deuce. I took most of it out so i left just enough to play NL100 SSS in fulltilt poker. Prize money would be 20$ for the winner which is 1 Buy-In @NL100.
Rules:
1. We both play only NL100
2. Update our progress charts everyday so everybody could follow our fight
3. The finish line is 20 000 hands.
4. We can play as many tables as we want.
5. Player has to be Fulltilt Poker player so we could transfer money to each other at the end of the race.
6. The competition begins - 16.11.2009 - monday. Finishes @ 20 000 hands.

If there is something else you'd like to ask, please do so and we will discuss it in details.
:)

Ok I'm interested!

I root for guy above ...
just a Q, when u start it doesnt matter how long it would take u to reach 20k hands? so u can for example just 4-table and increase ur winrate....?

Yup, u can play even 1 table if u want to. I just need to play less tables to play better. It will help myself. 160-tabling often brings a lot of mistakes and huge swings.
RahXephon1, let's wait if smb else want to play against me, but i think u'd be a great opp. ;)
I just have one little problem. Maybe somebody can help me. Is it possible to track progress charts in pokerstrategy elephant from date to date? otherwise i don't know how to track my results from 16th - 20 000 hands. Any suggestions? I'm ready to download a new tracker if it's necessary.

Well I think it should have some filters there. With PT3 it's fairly easy since you just give all the parameters you want (site, date, limit, tabletype...)

This race would be nice. After all the stake is just 1BI and I think the race itself will motivate you to win more.

I am also currently in a race with fellow SSS'er Raun. We are playing NL200-NL400. The stake - Bragging rights. :)

Good luck to both of you!

@Rahx - I think this is what you need to break your recent downswings. :)

I'm not a SSS player (and I never even play against SS players, as I only play the 50bb min tables at p*... I know, I should broaden my game a bit), but I'll follow your race!

Why not let a number of people into the race, have all of you post $20, and split the prize pool up like a SNG? IE, if you get 6 runners, #1 wins $80 and #2 wins $40?

great idea grantjennings. but i think it will be hard finding 6 other nl100 ftp players who are up for it.

and good idea setting the finish line at a number of hands instead of at a date.

i'm interested too, just looking to move up to NL100 soon.

unfortunately i play on Stars/Everest.

OK, i agree. other players are welcome too. Let's make the prize pool bigger.
I checked - it's possible to filter days with elephant.
I'm really looking forward to this race. I just lost with JJ vs T9 on the flop T237, turn i pushed allin with 22$, pot was about 50$ already. he called and got 9 on the river. Phuck sakes :( And the very next hand 88 vs 77 where a 7 came. Grrr.
So at the moment it's: woxix (me) ; RahXephon1 ; tba ; tba; tba.... _evil:

well the problem with making this bigger is that it then becomes harder to check if the scores are accurate, the prizes get bigger, you can't be 100% everyone will hold their part of the deal etc etc.

I'd join you guys, but I play PStars :(

Good luck!

Ok, let's look only for trustful players. Maybe +1 or 2 and that's it ;)

i am in if u agree. i have recently started nl100 sss at ftpand this competition would be fun. unfortunatly i dont use tracking software so my profit would have to benn tracked via pokertableratings.com

Ok Ishindar, you are in ;)
So the prizepool atm would be 60$. 1st place 40$, 2nd place 20$ 3rd - 0$. One more player will be accepted, but no more. ;)

i will post how much i have won on nl100fr at the begining of the day and the amount of hands played (lifetime). I will then play for the day. after the day is over i will check my lifetime stats (on nl100fr) and check the difference between #of hands played and amount won.
For example (hypothetical)
Day 1:
Begining of the day
Amount Won:500
hands played:60,000
End of day
Amount won:600
hands played:65,000
Day 1
Profit:100
hands:5,000
