I listen everything from Disturbed, Pearl Jam, etc. to Black and such artists from 80's, also David Sides if I want some good piano pieces, even though rap is not my thing I find 2Pac great for focusing, his flow is just...unmatched.
Basically it's a lot of different music; I listen to what my ears are hungry for atm or what keeps me focused, keeps my spirit up and such.

Today in music player. As you can see, I prefer electronic music.
I normally listen to something mellow to get into a grinding mindset. If the music is too harsh, I tend to play too aggressive.
It's always funny how people ask to post some favorites out of a 5k+ track playlist... Still, +1 for uninterrupted acoustic accommodation during sessions.
only thing i can suggest to all u people that play with music is try listenin to cafe del mar collection,it is 100% relaxin
but imo although i used to play with music aswell,i dont anymore cause i think i focus better that way

i mainly listen to metallica, ac/dc, iron maiden, disturbed and similar music.
but i really spend to much time on youtube while playing to be honest.
It depends. Every poker player should have a few gears (if you don't know what this means, WATER BOAT does. Check it out:
). Why not different music for different gears?
If I want to run the high octane LAG gear, I'll listen to GnR, Alter Bridge, Iron Maiden, Dream Theater or the like.
If I want to zone out and grind multitables, play straight forward ABC, I'll put on some electronic music (www.di.fm has some good streaming channels).
Then, if I want to play my A game, try to find the perfect bet every time, and balance aggression with patience, I'll listen to Mozart or Bach.

Heavy metal makes wonders for late stage SNG's because it makes me super agressive, but slower genres work good also since i play more relaxed.
