Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

MP1 36/18 45 hands
BB 12/11 125 hands

The BB raise looks strong and I think my 10 outs were't clean, in this 3-way pot I could have 6 clean outs, so I should fold it and see what hands they played with and make a note :)
I think I played this hand recklessly - looked at the board and said:2OC, GS, push!
and that was wrong :)

$0.1/$0.25 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Known players:
[tg]BB$5.00:///////;UTG1(Hero)$4.65:///////;UTG2$29.04:///////;MP1$13.03:///////;MP2$4.50:///////;MP3$5.17:///////;CO$36.60:///////;BU$4.90:///////;SB$29.39:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is UTG1 with K:h, A:d.
Hero raises to $0.85, UTG2 folds, MP1 calls $0.85, 5 folds, BB calls $0.60.

Flop: ($2.65) J:c, 9:h, Q:h (3 players)
BB bets $2.65, Hero raises to $3.80, MP1 calls $3.80, BB calls $1.15.

Turn: ($14.05) 5:d (2 players)
BB checks, MP1 bets $0.25, BB raises to $0.35, MP1 calls $0.10.

River: ($14.75) 5:s (3 players)

Final Pot: $14.75.

First mistake: Raise to $1.00, it makes it less likely the BB will call with a marginal hand.

Second Mistake: If you miss the board in a 3 handed hand always check fold unless you have a strong draw. There is no way you have 10 clean outs here unless the guy has QJ. If your going to be a good player you have to learn to fold big hands and know when you are beat.

Hey oedipa,

you need 39% equity to be profitable against BB which you would have with 10 outs + BDFD, but number of your clean outs is more likely about 7 than 10 and with the fact there is still another opponent to act behind you I just let this one go as it will result in breakeven or even -EV play and borderline situations are better avoided.

And you're right, it's always smart to make a note in the end, because you never know when they'll come in handy. :)
