this is certainly a interesting hand,

I bet flop aswell, but I check turn behind. Both for potcontrol in what is basicly a WA/WB situation and to get some value from bluffs and weaker holding (like 99-QQ) on the river (call every river ofcourse).

As played it's either a puke-call or a big fold, I'm leaning towards the fold tbh because his line has "monster" written all over it. We get great odds on river but I really really don't expect villain to bluff here often after you have bet on both flop and turn.

Bet preflop 20-40 more.
Bet flop.
Check turn.
Call river unless he makes huge overbet.

i like checking back on the turn and calling a river bet.

I don't usually spoil things by giving the hand away, but in this instance, villain had A :club:8 :club: and shoved river with 1 pair and busted flush.

And this shows the crazy plays we sometimes face...

Is this on FT? This limit really fucks with my mind. This kind of hand happens daily, and it's hard to pick who's playing like this if they're unknowns. I raise a bit larger preflop but the rest the same.

I either bet the turn and fold the river, or I check behind on the turn and call a river bet, depending on what range I put him, if he is on draws very often, then I bet the turn, if it is mostly pairs or a K then I like checking the turn, btw. if turn is C/C and the river is checked to me I vlauebet him.
