Anyways its like this , people know im tight aggressive so its hard for me to make money because they fold as soon as I raise usually.

But im playing with 100 buy ins instead of standard 30 buy ins .And now im playing like a maniac.

So NL2 $200
NL5 $500 etc

A ultra-conservative bankroll management with a donk playing style? So that you can play bad as long as possible?

I'm not sure if they all know that you are tight-aggresive at such limits. Maybe you should switch from pokersite if you feel like that there.

Anyway, I think you should use the bankroll management system that Pokerstrategy provides, and keep playing to win :).

I wouldnt say i played the hand bad lol , i put the guy on AK , went with my read and moved all in.

He was stupid and called , i had the edge.

The only problem is , if mis read him i have 5 outs at best unless he flopped 2 pair or a set.

I saw the guy move all in with AQ vs AJ a few hands before so it was possible he had AQ again or a pair.

however he changed his betting pattern on this particular hand , he had bet pot when he hit flop in previous hands , this time he c-bet 1/2 which i felt was a semi- bluff with AK on a gut shot and moved all in .

I was right , as usual . But sometimes i lose to suck outs

haha yeah , I don't usually take those risks , only against speical players who give me bad beats with 69 off suit

I thought my 10 outer was good , of course i was drawing dead tho.

Being that the guy was SSS I figured i would take the gamble without having a good read on him which is never wise.

Rather than just take the piss, which is obviously tempting, I'd prefer to post something constructive.

Think REALLY hard about what you are doing. In your initial post you make a poor assertion that bigger BRM allows you to play a higher variance game - forgetting that if your game is a losing one, then all a more conservative BRM allows is you more chance to enjoy some positive/break even variance before you eventually go busto.

The hand where you note an SSS player playing incorrectly, fails to highlight your appalling min 3 bet in a multiway pot.

Can I suggest you learn the basics, apply the basics, understand the maths play properly, and once you have control of the basics of the game, you can then learn how and when to loosen up your playing style.

Please accept this post as a wake up call and spend some time crawling before you start swan diving into the shallow end of the swimming pool.

Of course, you can continue as you are currently, in which case I can only wish you all the best and lament another player missing out on a great opportunity to gain a proper edge on their opponents.

Ah now there is a reason i made that re raise , I was just unlucky the SS didn't fold his 88 like he was supposed to before flop.

Else i would have won the pot.

Never mind tho , same table same hand same player raised stacked off against me . Winner .

As for me being a losing player . Just started playing seriously again last month $25 deposit ( own money ) = $220 in 1 month playing NL$2 been playing poker for 4 years but not high stakes obviously.

However I have lost my entire bankroll 2 times now , 1 when i tilted first year i played and took it all to high stakes game , lost with Nut flush to boat on river

2nd time I lost my entire Bankroll on roulette tables .

Cashed out bankroll of $1k a few months ago after i got burnt out from grinding.

Ive only ever deposited $125 of my own money in 4 years.

I watched a DVD called "how to make money playing texas holdem " by the hollywood poker acadamy when i first started playing , the info given on this site is far more advanced than the info i got given when i first started playing poker.

Read all the poker books that are worth reading . What i am interested in is learning more about now is the short game since that appears to be the future of poker cash games.
