Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $1(BB) Replayer
SB ($77.05)
Hero ($117)
UTG ($107)
UTG+1 ($117)
CO ($101)
BTN ($106)

Dealt to Hero J♣ J♦

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to $2.50, SB raises to $6, Hero calls $5, BTN calls $3.50

FLOP ($18) 8♠ 5♦ 4♠

SB bets $15, Hero ???

BU: 20/17/4.2 (255 hands). ATS BU 82%, fold to 3bet 80%.
SB: 21/11/1.3 (75 hands). 3bet 6.7%, cbet 75%.

So not many stats on both of the players. But the small resteal made me suspicous already. So I decided just to call. Then he makes this big bet on the flop, probably not liking this board against 2 players, so I figured out my JJ wasn't gonna be good here.

Was I right?!

I would probably call once and fold turn but folding flop can't be too bad as well because he is very likely to have QQ+

He's a passive player and he 3bet preflop and cbets big in a 3way pot - he simply has you beat.
I'd fold the flop. You can't move him off of his hand if some draw get there and you're not even closing the action on the flop.
So by calling you burn 15BB most of the time because he will just continue betting and you have to fold.

Btw if you thought his range was too strong to 4bet preflop folding this flop is the only play that makes sense - if you think he has a lot of random overcards and hands like TT and 99 there you should've 4bet pre.
