Ok in this hand I tried fold oponent. I expect him to fold some PP and expects that extra bets and aggression will be +EV.

I still have 3/4 outs to nuts and KQ might be good some times as well. Unfortunately I do not know what he folded...

Hi!

I definately like fold the most preflop.

As played I take freecard on the flop as I see him being very SD bound with his flop check

Turn.... where is UTG and didnt MP1 folded flop?!? If he is UTG I fold this as I dont see him folding anything and also we dont beat anything so 4 outs are not enough for 1:8
Most often we are going to get 3-bet where we cant fold anymore.

sorry, typo got in (typed it manually down)... turn and river is UTG1, not MP1

MP1 canot fold on flop and in same time raise on turn ♦

Hi funktor,

I don't like that 3-bet preflop either. You are way too often behind already. A reasonable range is 99+, ATs+, KQs, AQo+ so you are ahead of nothing.

It's hard to say how to continue as I normally like to bet this flop to see a cheap river but as you are behind so often and as you have almost no fold equity I tend to check behind and fold most turns.

The turn has hit him ery often so I wouldn't raise here. Just call and hope to hit your T.

Hi!

I actually typed in hand that was played in video by one of the coaches on Stoxpoker because I did not like it... I wanted to have other opinions. For me KQo vs UTG raise clear much preflop (FR).

I tried inluced his thinking here why to sometimes include very agrrasive play and thinking in the original description.

Hmm I don't think that you can make up for the lost value preflop. In FL you often don't get him to fold and your implied odds are a lot lower as well. Who was he?
If you look at a reasonable range you only may make him fold 99-JJ which are 3 pocketpair combinations.
These hands are often only folded on very bad boards but these boards are the ones where you want him to calldown as you often hit yourself.

Could it be that it was a highstakes game? Up there they often openraise any pocketpair (or almost any) so it would make more sense.
