4 folds, CO calls, BU folds, SB calls, Hero raises, CO calls, SB 3-Bets, Hero calls, CO calls.

Flop: (9 SB) 5:d, 3:h, 9:d (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, CO folds, SB raises, Hero 3-Bets, SB caps, Hero folds, SB gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: 6 BB.

I couldn't figure out what he had considering his aggression, but I folded, because I had only mid pair.

Hi!

I dont like preflop raise in BB. Your hand has slight edge against two players but you will be playing OOP so try to keep the pot small.That way you will have more options on the flop.

As played I wouldnt donk this flop. I see him c-betting here most often so I go for c/r. That way you protect most against CO and punish SB overcards. If he then 3-bet I calldown as I see this line either as a monster(AA,KK,QQ) or overplayed overs(AK,AQ) or just some spazzy bluff.

As played I dont like your 3-bet that much.You are IP against SB so you can play perfectly with your mediocre hand(bet if check,otherwise calldown)

When he caps your 3-bet you cant fold for 1:16. You have enough outs even if against AA but I think your are also ahead a decent portion of the time(I still put some complete bluffs or some FDs in his range) so I would still consider calldown as an option(maybe fold turn if it is K)

So whats the meaning of SB calling and then raising?
