Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.1/$0.25 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)

Known players:
[tg]SB$8.92:///////;BB$31.55:///////;UTG2$24.80:///////;MP1$37.70:///////;MP2$31.67:///////;MP3$4.30:///////;CO(Hero)$5.00:///////;BU$40.64:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is CO with J:s, J:h.
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, 2 folds, BB calls $0.50.

Flop: ($1.6) K:d, 8:d, 2:d (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.50, BB raises to $4.00, Hero?

Final Pot: $10.1.

Just fold it? I've been running into these check/raises a lot lately and unsure how to act on them..

Bet/Shove on the Flop would result in a high variance spot. Kx you are crushed, against A:d x, you are flipping.

Given the fact you need 31% but still have an average equity of 30%, I think either bet/f or bet/shove is ok

srry stupid question how does he need 31%? He as to call $2.75 to win $7.35. It looks like 37% to me. What am i doing wrong?

$1.6 (FlopPot) + $4.5{EffectiveStack before any betting postflop} + $1.5{cBet} against [[ES -- cBet]]
=

1.6+4.5+1.5] : [3]
7.6:3
but RAKE = 5% so 7.6*0.95 = $7.22 :: 3 => 2.4 :1 = 3.4^-1 (here is a shortcut btw which I forget every time ) = 0.29 = 29%

I hope this helps
