Villian was 38/38 over 11 hands - small sample I know yes but had shown he was playing with hands like A6o and ATo.

I'm aware that my raise preflop isn't that good because I will get shoved into by one of the smaller stacks a lot of the time. But even then I think I can call any shove from one of the ~30k stacks and fold to the ~50k because I'd be getting 2.5:1 and I very likely have two live cards.

wtf were u doing shoving with 78s???
u try to steal they dont let u give it up
u dont got FEQ on 2$ tours, guy likes his hand, he want to play it, he reraise u and he is not folding PREFLOP EVER

i dont like your raise here preflop because your position is too early.
if you are MP3 the raise is fine, but MP1 is too early.
you dont want to go all in with 40k against those smallstacks. if your stack is like 200k its ok but here the lost of 40k would hurt alot so fold.
as played i bet/fold the flop.
if he is on a flushdraw he wont fold and he has 50/50 or better against your hand. if he has a king your dead, if he has a pair between your dead.
hards to think about a hand he folds after his comitting raise and even harder to think about a hand you beat.
so bet/fold
