Hi,

Fine with the 3bet preflop, calling is an option as tags won't raise/call much out of position, so keeping the dominated hands in the pot has value in contrast to getting him into a 4bet-or-fold spot which turns AQs into a bluff against the tighter tags.

More often than not i'll just check back and give up unimproved on that flop, it smashes a SB raise/calling range with medium pocket pairs. Even if he called kinda light with the intention to make some moves, this is definitely a flop he'll go nuts on.

From then on I don't like betting the K turn alone because i think it's going to take more than one bet to get SB off anything, so i'd either play it like you did or commit to also firing a lot of rivers.
